Vertical Blinds

A very practical yet stylish choice, these blinds come into their own on larger windows (hence their popular commercial application). They can be swivelled open or closed or open in either a one way stack or a split draw.

Application

Vertical blinds are particularly useful on large, awkward shaped windows. The blinds can be drawn across the window with the louvres tilted to allow natural daylight through but reducing the glare and heat gain.

Style

Vertical blinds are available in a wide range of colours and louvre finishes including fabric, aluminium and wood. They can be curved, arched or sloping to work with practically any window shape.

Operation

  • Vertical blinds can be cord or chain operated
  • Alternatively, they can be motorised with a choice of operating systems
    • Remote control
    • Simple wall switch
    • Integration into a home audio visual system such as Lutron or Crestron or an entire building management system
  • This allows for installation where blind access may be awkward, extremely large windows or just for ease of use
