Pinoleum Blinds

These beautifully crafted blinds are made from thin wood spills which, gives them a decorative quality that is particularly appropriate for shading conservatory roofs and windows of all shapes*

Application

Pinoleum blinds are ideal for rooflights or sloping conservatory roofs and working blinds can be fitted to triangular and other shaped windows. The narrow gaps between the reeds permit ‘through vision’ and ventilation.

Style

Pinoleum is cut by hand to ensure a perfect finish and the edges are then bound in complementary cotton. These wood spills can be either stained or painted from a wide colour range

Our Pinoleum Blinds are available in the following:-

  • Pinoleum Pull Up Blind
    • Mounted on a stove enamelled head member
    • The side cord action works through an integral cord lock to allow the blind to be stopped at intermediate positions
  • Pinoleum Roman Cascade
    • Traditional Roman Blind but with folds of Pinoleum which give the effect of a cascading waterfall when the blind is full raised

Operation

  • Pinoleum Blinds can be cord operated or rod operated
  • Alternatively, they can be operated by remote control or a simple wall switch or integrated into a home audio visual system such as Lutron or an entire building management system
  • This allows for installation where blind access may be awkward, extremely large windows or just for ease of use

Where appropriate, we can incorporate Solar, Light Sensitive, Temperature, Wind and Time control systems.
